Ruth Henningsen

RUTH HENNINGSEN, 90, a 9 year resident of Crown King, Arizona passed away April 9th at her home in Crown King. She was born November 1, 1918 to Leo and Dora Plenge. Ruth enjoyed flowers, the outdoors, gardening and crocheting. She loved laughing and having a good time with her family. She married John Henningsen September 8 1940 and they spent most of their married life in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota and Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, John and her brothers Earl Plenge and Elmer Plenge. She is survived by her three sons, Raymond Henningsen and his wife, Margaret of Crown King, Arizona, Ervin Henningsen of New Castle, Wyoming and Dale Henningsen and his wife, Mary of Salt Lake City, Utah; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and one sister, Gertrude Simonsen of Minnesota. Funeral services were held at 4:00 PM Friday, April 10th, at the Crown King Community Church, Pastor, Tony Nelson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated in her memory to the Crown King Community Church, PO Box 404, Crown King, AZ 86343.
