Richard Rapson

November 29, 1933 - June 15, 2017

Richard Rapson, 83, passed away on Thurday, June 15, 2017, in Prescott. Dick was born on November 29, 1933, to Gurth and Alice in New Castle, PA, graduated from New Castle High School, and joined the Air Force. He was a decorated gunner in the Korean Conflict. He worked all of his professional life in the communications field; 30 years at Mountain Bell, and then started his own business, ADG Communications, until retiring in 2008. He is survived by wife Fran and children Sherry (Mark), Cynthia (Michelle), Timothy, and Dennis (Carole). He had six brothers and sisters, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and an abundance of friends. Memorial service to take place 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 20th at Orchard Ranch RV Park in the Round House, 11250 E. State Rt. 69, Dewey, AZ, 86327. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to U.S. Vets Outreach Services, 917 E. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ, 86301, to support homeless veterans and their families.
