MaryPat Garry Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

MaryPat Garry passed away on Jan. 3, 2009 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 10,1939 in Phoenix, Ariz. to Jerry and Mary Ganes. MaryPat attended elementary and high school in Phoenix. She later received her Bachelor and Master Degrees from Arizona State University. After that she taught business classes at Moon Valley High School in Phoenix until her retirement in June 1993. MaryPat served on the Board of Directors of Desert Schools Federal Credit Union from 1989 to 2009. She served in various positions during her tenure including Chairman of the Board. After retiring from teaching, MaryPat and her husband, Jack, moved from Phoenix to Prescott, Ariz., where she became involved in various activities and made many friends. One of the activities she enjoyed and loved was quilting. MaryPat is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack Garry; her three children, Colleen Burkhart, Patricia Weite and Brian Garry; seven grandchildren, Cassie, Alissa, Jessie, Leonard, Kimberly, Melanie, Kelli; two great-grandchildren, Jade, Krysta; and her brother William Ganes. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by them as well as all of her many friends.
