Margie Frasher

November 6, 1929 - December 15, 2009

Margie Louise Frasher passed away quietly Tuesday morning five years to the day of her quadruple by-pass. Born November 6, 1929 in Verden OK. She spent part of her teen years with her parents, Raymond Jeremiah and Elba Oneta Shofner Shook in Skull Valley while attending Prescott High School. Later while attending Nursing School in Mesa she met her husband of 61 year, Nova Clifton Frasher stationed in the Air Force. They traveled with the Air Force finishing his 24 year carrier and raising of children (5 girls and 2 boys).  As a proud, involved twenty-seven year resident of Prescott Valley, Louise was a busy volunteer at the new library, several years as a teacher with the literacy program, a dedicated member of the "Dusty Trails" National Grandmother's Club which supported Stepping Stones, Faith House, she was president several times. She was a starting member of the Prescott Valley Community Choir. Louise was also very involved in St. Germains Catholic Church and their many ministries. She was the first song leader. She went on to sing with Mike and Mike and joining several choirs, receiving many accolades for her beautiful voice. Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Debby Frasher Lumsden and her Parents Ray and Elba Shook. She is survived by her loving family, husband, Nova, 6 children, 27 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
