In Loving Memory Of Glenn Clifton Martin Glenn Clifton Martin, 90, died on October 16, 2014. Glenn was born on September 23, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Neola and Claude Martin. Glenn served as a Navy Quartermaster in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS San Francisco. Living in Kansas City, he had a career as a U.S. Postal Clerk, retiring in 1980. He and his wife, Laurel, of 41 years relocated to Cordes Lakes, Arizona, in 1987. He loved organic gardening, and was very interested in wholistic medicine. Glenn was a loving husband and father, and a good man. His family and friends will miss him greatly. Glenn is survived by his wife, Laurel, his three daughters, Pam Maisey of Albuquerque, NM; Mercedes Martin of Carlsbad, CA; Lesa Brock of Overland Park, KS; and his two step children, Melodye Wehmhoener of Lee's Summit, MO; and Stephen Smith of Arcadia, FL; and nine wonderful grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Veterans' of Foreign Wars are welcome in Glenn's name. Contributions to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) are also appreciated.
