Rosalba Ibarra Verduzco

Rosalba Ibarra Verduzco, 60, of Prescott Valley, Arizona joined the Lord on January 6th, 2024 in Prescott surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 22nd ,1963 to Eugenio Ibarra Rincon and Rosalba Verduzco Otero. She was the seventh born child out of eleven siblings. She was a Caborca, Sonora native and was very proud of her Mexican heritage. Rosalba was born and raised in Caborca, Sonora where she graduated high school and received a certificate in business administration. She then pursued her career becoming head secretary. Her most valuable role was being a loving mother to her three beautiful children Mario, Marina, and Melina; for whom she worked her whole life for. Seeking a better future for her children she made the decision to move her family to Arizona in the year 2000. It was there where she met the love of her life Wallace L. Welker. They were happily married for sixteen years. During those sixteen years they enjoyed traveling to many historical landmarks and beautiful sceneries around Arizona and the western region. Her most cherished trips were made visiting her family in the state of Sonora, Mexico. Her hobbies included baking, painting beautiful sceneries, drawing mermaids, and enjoying quality time with her four loving grandchildren Christopher, Alisson, Sofia and Noah. Rosalba was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife and grandmother to her family. Rosalba fiercely battled cancer for four years while never loosing sight of her values and faith. She showed tremendous strength and courage until she was called into Heaven. Rosalba is survived by her husband Wally, children Mario Ibarra (Karen Ibarra), Marina Ibarra, Melina Ibarra (Cesar Jauregui), and grandchildren Christopher, Alisson, Sofia, and Noah. The family of Rosalba Ibarra would like to extend their sincere gratitude to IMSS Hospital (Mexico), St. Joseph’s Hospital, Compassus Hospice Services, and Good Samaritan Society: Marley House for their exceptional attention and care. Funeral Services will be held at Saint Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley on Thursday, January 11th, 2024 with a viewing at 9:30 am, rosary at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am.
