Lisa Reed Simpson

It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Lisa Reed Simpson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, on October 16, 2025, at the age of 61. Lisa was born on February 16, 1964, to Neil (Gayle) Potter and Susan (Gary) Lundburg, and sister to Marc Reed Potter, who survive her. Lisa was the beloved wife of 12 years to Stephen James Simpson and a caring mother to Bradley William Elmer(Kasey), Billy Gregory Elmer (Kristina), and Christina Reed Newman. She was also a proud stepmother to Sarah Simpson Brewer (Brett), Stephen Foster Simpson, and Theodore Joseph Simpson. Lisa was a devoted grandmother to Madison Elmer, TJ Brown, Payson Elmer, Brianna Elmer, Novalina Rose Brewer, and Jessie James Brewer. Her family brought her immense joy, and she treasured every moment with them. Lisa will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit. She had a way of making everyone she met feel special and loved. Her laughter filled every room, and her compassion left a profound mark on all who knew her. She leaves a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Lisa was deeply passionate about teaching and took pride in helping preschool children learn and develop. Her dedication to her young students and her sincere concern for their growth showcased her lifelong devotion to nurturing others. Lisa was a shining light—a Christian woman who believed deeply in the power of prayer. She loved deeply and was loved deeply in return. Her faith and love for others guided every part of her life, leaving a lasting example of grace, strength, and devotion. At the request of the family, services will be private. Lisa will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Lisa, you were my best friend. I will miss you until the day we meet again in Heaven. I love you, Babe, always!
