KIMBERLY JEAN KUERBIS

Kimberly Jean Kuerbis, passed away peacefully in her home on July 4, 2024. Born on July 12, 1968, in La Mesa, California, Kimberly spent her life in California, Utah and Arizona, where she nurtured her passions and made lasting memories. Kimberly earned a bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Science, Physical Science/Geology, a testament to her lifelong love for rocks and gemstones. This passion for the earth's treasures was a central part of who she was, leading her to collect gemstones and explore the world of geology with enthusiasm. Later in life, Kimberly pursued a career in massage therapy and became a Reiki master, sharing her healing touch with those around her. She was a Spiritual and Animal Energy Healer. Her dedication to helping others was evident in everything she did, even as she faced challenges that led to an early retirement due to a disability. Despite these challenges, Kimberly never lost her love for the animals and the outdoors. She found joy in hiking, camping, swimming, and driving adventures, writing, arts and crafts, she was always seeking out new experiences and embracing the beauty of nature. Music was another of her great loves, filling her life with rhythm and harmony. Kimberly is predeceased by her parents, Allan Kuerbis and Jeannie Kuerbis, and her brother Kent Kuerbis. She is survived by her sister, Kollette Chambers (Patrick Chambers); her beloved nephews and niece, Kent, Kellan, and Karly; and her cherished cat, Hagrid. In lieu of flowers, Kimberly requested that donations be made to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, https://bestfriends.org/ reflecting her deep love for animals and her desire to support their care and well-being. Kimberly will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date. A Short Goodbye Please don’t be sad, for I am not gone, the wind in the trees will play you my song. The coyotes and wolves, they sing you my tune, my spirit shines in the soft light of the moon. My soul’s in the rain that fixes the dry, my music is in the song of a redtails cry. Look for me, I am there, I’m all around you, I’m everywhere. I am not gone, I am not past, grieve no more make this tear your last. Remember the laughter, the fun that we had. Remember the good, forget all the sad. Please dry your eyes, please do not cry, for this my dear is but a short goodbye.
