At Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation we offer numerous types of services and merchandise. In our best effort to provide the most thoughtful service at the most affordable cost, we have itemized the many options we offer. We do realize that each and every service may have special requests, desires and wishes.
Celebration of Life / Gathering of Friends / Memorial Service
No one can tell what is the best way for you to honor the life of your loved one. Here at Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation we are dedicated to assisting you with arranging the type of service that you feel will best help you to honor the life of your loved one. Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with making the arrangements that you feel are best for you.
Traditional Funeral Service
At Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation we offer a Traditional Funeral Service. This is a funeral service with the deceased present, and usually includes an open casket viewing the night before, or just hours prior to the beginning of the service. The visitation usually takes place at the funeral home, with the funeral service usually taking place at a church. However, these services can also take place in the funeral chapel. Embalming is required for an open casket public viewing.
Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with making arrangements for a Traditional Funeral Service, or with any question you may have. You will be given a general price list when visiting our funeral home, or one can be mailed to you upon request.
Graveside Funeral Service
At Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation we offer a Graveside Funeral Service. This is a funeral service with the deceased present; however, the casket may not be open. There may be a visitation prior to the Graveside Service at the funeral home. If no viewing is to take place, embalming is not required by law, except in certain special cases. Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with making arrangements for a Graveside Service.
Traditional Memorial Service
At Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation we offer a Traditional Memorial Service (Cremation with remains present). The Traditional Memorial Funeral Service with the deceased present usually includes an open casket viewing prior to the service, with the funeral service taking place in a church or chapel. Instead of burial, the deceased is cremated following the services.
Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with making arrangements for a Traditional Memorial Funeral Service.
Immediate Burial Service
At Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation we offer an Immediate Burial Service. This is a funeral service without any viewing or ceremony, or use of the funeral facilities for services. Embalming is not required except in certain special cases. If no embalming after 24 hours, refrigeration is required.
Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with making arrangements for an Immediate Burial funeral service.
Direct Cremation
At Sunrise Funeral Home and Cremation we offer a Direct Cremation. This is a funeral arrangement without any viewing, ceremony, or use of the funeral facilities for services. Embalming is not required except in certain special cases. If the deceased is not embalmed after 24 hours, refrigeration is required.
Our crematory requires a rigid combustible container for cremation. Our rigid container is manufactured locally by Yavapai Exceptional Industries (Y.E.I.), thus allowing us to give a portion back to our community. Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with making arrangements for Direct Cremation.
Forwarding & Receiving of Remains
We can assist you with making arrangements to have your loved one transported to or from any funeral home, nationally or internationally. Our knowledgeable staff is available to assist you with making forwarding or receiving funeral arrangements.
